Activities begin at 8:00 a.m. in the Floyd Room, 20th Floor of Twin Towers West. (The Twin Towers Building is sometimes referred to as the Sloppy Floyd Building.) A luncheon is included, which begins at 12:00 p.m. Organized activities will conclude at approximately 2:00 p.m. Attendees are welcome to stay at the Capitol and attend committee meetings, if scheduled, or meet with lawmakers.


A complete agenda of the day’s activities will be available in the weeks leading up to the event on the PAGE website as well as on the websites of our event partners, the Georgia Association of Educational Leaders (GAEL) and the Georgia Association of Colleges for Teacher Education (GACTE).

Location Note: Activities for PAGE Day on Capitol Hill will be held in the Twin Towers West Building and the Georgia Capitol. The day begins with sessions in the Floyd Room, which is located on the 20th Floor of Twin Towers West. The Twin Towers/Sloppy Floyd Building is located across the street from the Capitol. Attendees should plan to walk across the street to the Capitol to speak with legislators and will return for a luncheon at 12 p.m. in the Floyd Room, 20th Floor, Twin Towers West.

Parking Instructions: The closest parking location is the Pete Hackney Parking Deck,  adjacent to the Twin Towers Building. For mapping directions, use 162 Jesse Hill Jr. Dr. SE, Atlanta, GA 30303. The parking fee is $10, payable by credit or debit card, only.  

Contacting Your Local Legislators in Advance: We highly recommend contacting your local representative or senator to schedule a meeting with them before or after the luncheon. We also encourage you to invite your local legislators to attend the luncheon with you. The luncheon is a good opportunity for your representative or senator to learn more about your experiences as a Georgia educator.
